ABOUT

Sara is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience working in both the private and public health sector. Sara is fully registered with AHRPA, a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a Board-Approved Supervisor. Sara is also a credentialed Eating Disorder clinician and a member of ANZAED.

Sara's therapeutic style is warm and collaborative. Sara has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, stress and trauma, grief, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. While Sara enjoys working with a wide range of presentations she has a particular interest working with young people (ages 15 to 25), and with people struggling with eating and body image difficulties. Her practice is weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, affirming of gender and neurodiversity, and firmly grounded in the Health at Every Size (HAES) principles.

Sara draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to assist her clients in achieving their goals. In particular, Sara has had training and experience in Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Mindfulness approaches and Compassion Focused Therapy.​
